Setting:

This is an alternate reality that follows about five years after the events of Order 66. We follow mostly canon and some Legends where it suits us, meaning, we do whatever the fuck we want and are not bound to canon that works against what we want to do, especially if we think it's stupid.

Where we deviate from canon is arbitrary and capricious, and we have given ourselves permission to be okay with this.

With all that said, we keep to standards that we feel are reasonable, and still want this to feel like Star Wars.

Our goal is fun and enjoyable story-writing with well developed characters in a Star Wars setting - if that's what you're into, you'll probably like it here.

The story so far..

Five years after the events of Order 66, Sage, one of the few Jedi who survived the purge, has adjusted well to his life as a bounty hunter under the alias ‘Sakuma.’

His latest job has led him to Nar Shaddaa, where upon arrival, he received a message from a fellow Jedi in hiding, Sojihie, to whom he is also married; ambiguous council rules be damned.

At Sojihie’s request, Sage is now tasked with locating and protecting a young man named Paul aka B, aka Boto, leader of the IFP freedom fighters of Isle, a planet used by the Empire as a shipyard factory.

After a confrontation with a trio of less honourable bounty hunters, Sage helped B escape with his life, but in doing so, violated the rules of the Bounty Hunter Guild, and once again, had to go into hiding.

While re-supplying on Corellia, Sage and B meet Kitty, a cabaret singer with whom they feel a strange connection, and unbeknownst to them, is a target of 13th Sister, an Inquisitor of the Empire.

Kitty helps Sage and B find Adrikat, an expert pilot and sends them on their way.

After completely re-wiring the cockpit of Sage’s ship, they leave Corellia and soon are contacted by a person from Sage’s past, Zao Bushida, who helped Sage survive a time when he was an amnesiac held captive, and force to fight for his life in pit fights, until being freed by Sojihie.

Zao explains that her people hollowed out a very large asteroid protected by a perilous debris field, to become a safe haven for her people from the Empire, one that has also become a base for those seeking to fight against the Empire.

Sage learns that his time with Zao had led to the conception of Kitty, which isn’t awkward at all, but there’s no time to deal with this, as Kitty has been poisoned and no medical methods seem effective at helping her - Sage is asked to come to Brightstone Sanctuary and to use the force to cure her, which he barely succeeds in doing so.

Meanwhile, 13th Sister tracks down Sage to Brightstone Sanctuary, having been the one who poisoned Kitty, but is unprepared for meeting B, who turns out to be 13th Sister’s nephew.

Being forced to consider killing a member of her own family is the push 13 needed to abandon the Inquisitor’s path, and reclaims her true name, Aiofe, but is haunted by her past, full of murder and violence.

Aiofe puts herself under the custody of Sage and Sojihie, who has also come to Brightstone Sanctuary, along with some Islish refugees, to use her Jedi abilities to help as a medic.

Sage literally just wanted to go about his life as a bounty hunter with a code of honour, only hunting criminals, in the hope of out-living the Empire, and was completely unprepared for any of this, but his wife has joined the madness, so he’s in it too.

B, Adrikat, and Sage’s droid, T3-M0 steal a ship and go on some mission that was important to B, and I literally don’t remember most of what happened as I wasn’t part of that story arc, but they meet Isalea, a pirate queen, who I think only agreed to not blow them up, because she saw T3 the droid with a pirate hat.

Isalea becomes an ally to Brightstone, and then Jerefan shows up, and as Sojihie’s father, he finally confronts his son in law, and explains to Sage how a villain of B’s past, a Sith no connected to the Empire, is responsible for much of the injustice on Sojihie’s home world of Zoolfadia, a dwarf planet that shares orbit with Isle - they aren’t particularly small planets, about average planet size, but they’re dwarf planets as sharing an orbit means neither of them cleared their orbital path, so they be dwarves, and I don’t care if this is nit-picky.

Some other cool shit happens, but the highlight is the battle on.. wait let me check.. okay they never gave it a name, I’ve just been calling it Isalea’s planet.. brb asking typist:

“Never named it. Feel free if you want.”

Fuck it, it was Isalea’s planet, that’s it, that’s the name.

So yeah, on Isalea’s planet (literal name on star charts, maybe she discovered it.. she DID discover it), all bloody hell breaks loose, for a few seconds, this place was armageddon, there was a FIRE FIGHT!

Razeel is about ready to utterly wreck everyone’s shit, and oh yeah, this is when Jerefan first showed up. Arana is there too along with Repetra (but their intros came up earlier).
Sage does a sommelier scene like the one from John Wick as he gears up and comes to help, and it’s just enough to help save Isalea’s life, and to have enough numbers for Razeel to consider a strategic retreat, but not before racking up a considerably high body count.

Isalea is furious that at being betrayed by many of her pirate subordinates, and finds refuge at Brightstone Sanctuary.

Some other stuff happens and eventually one of Isalea’s faithful subordinates, the captain of the Greedy Kraken, Riordan, arrives at Isalea’s planet, having been diverted away by those who betrayed Queen Isalea, knowing Riordan’s support of her would have been bad for their mutiny against her.
After interrogating some of the few survivors on Isalea’s Planet (capital P motherfuckers), Riordan pieces together the clues to track down Isalea to Brightstone Sanctuary. Upon arrival, he is met with B, who he realises is his son.

Riordan explains that he had been conscripted to by Isle’s military and was thought to be KIA. Stranded far from home, he spent years trying to make his way back, only to be led to believe that his family had all been killed, and in time left Isle, eventually joining Isalea’s group, and in time, became a ship captain. Riordan having found his queen, agrees to devote his ship, crew, and small compliment of fighters to the service of Brightstone Sanctuary.

Sage receives a call from an old friend, Avariella, a noble mercenary who he’d teamed up with in the past. She tells Sage of a slaver operation, and they bring B and Arana along to fuck shit up.
Sage meets one of the bounty hunters he confronted on Nar Shaddaa, an IG droid he’d decapitated, but had uploaded its memory to a backup body. This time IG has multiple back up droid bodies and is ready for “Sakuma,” a hunter known for his exceptional sword skills.
Outnumbered and badly outgunned, the IG mini-collective has Sage pinned with blaster fire. Sage’s vitro-sword is destroyed after blocking a few blaster bolts, giving him no choice but to once again draw his lightsaber.
Arana and B also succeed in their missions, and help free Vashmaya, a shi’ido shapeshifter, who later joins Brightstone Sanctuary.

B absconds again, to go on a one person rampage on Isle against his abusive step-father, but partially comes to his senses and brings along some IFP friends as an infiltration team.
They sneak into the massively secure base of B’s stepfather, and face some serious Bond-villain traps and nearly die a few times, especially with the fire trap that forces one of the team, Cos, aka C, aka Ceara, to reveal her force ability, to hold the fire back.

Sage, Riordan and Avariella track B down and assist where needed, but the main battle is fought by B, who is victorious against his former abuser, and wins a valuable asset for the IFP resistance.

B and co return to base where B starts having visions, which become whispers, and soon he realises that his grandfather is communing with him with the force - his grandfather, Tadgh, is being held captive on Zoolfadia, and needs to be rescued.

And that’s what’s happened so far..
