Out of past issues that had to be resolved the NSF have a single commander who reports directly to the King or Queen. The Colonels report to the Commander. Inter-section hostilities/issues will be handled by the Commander of the NSF. Hiring and firing of Colonels will be handled by the Royal and the Commander in Joint Session.

Other Sections of the NSF: 

The Royal Naboo Security Forces was made up of volunteers and professionals, and was split into a number of factions for effective peace-keeping:

 

Handmaiden:

The secret service of the security forces, aiding the Monarch in simple duties such as getting dressed to defense duties such as the utmost protection, including hiding her among their own ranks. Along with the Queen the Handmaidens wielded Q2 hold-out blasters and/or ELG-3A blaster pistols.

 

Hands do not wear rank insignia. Instead they carry data chips that hold their clearance in a non-discript item on their person.

 

Though the title denotes feminine it is an androgynous position. Hand Maidens can be male or female depending on the current ruler. In the case of a King they are simply called Hands. They not only assist the Monarch in daily issues, such as dressing in the heavy traditional Naboo garments but they are also highly trained body guards and spies.

Palace Guard:

Highly-trained bodyguards stationed in the Theed Royal Palace who acted as bodyguards to the king or queen, or even the senator. Though few in number, the Palace Guards were the backbone of the Security Forces. They wore sleek, combat helmets and red blast-dampening vests and carried S-5 heavy blaster pistols.

 

Rulers Honor Guard: 

A group of pilots who escorted the monarch when away from Naboo.

 

Knights of Naboo: 

Elite military forces. They were the best of the best. Not many can wear the badge of the KoN. These members are tested rigorously before they can join and they must continue to prove they are worthy of the title or have it  removed

Naboo Intelligence Agency:

Naboos information network. This group is highly secretive and not known to the general public.

 

Royal Medics:

Naboos medical corps. These are always highly trained specialists in a given field though their top ranks are usually generalists with a lot of experience. Their ranks are often known to include a few healers from Medea, an ally of Naboo.

 

Royal Naboo Fleet:

Typical Fleet positions. Pilots, most of these are reserves and not a standing military force but all of them are highly trained.

 

Royal Palace Guard:

These are your standard royal guards. They are highly trained soldiers who are extremely loyal to the crown of Naboo. They are professional individuals who take a lot of pride in their honorable position.

 

Naboo Army:

Standard NSF ground troop. Most are reserves and not a full standing army but all of them are highly trained.

 

Crime Scene Investigations:

Scientists with the ranks and titles of the NSF, whom investigate crimes.
