There is no conflict, there is balance

There is no apathy, there is certainty

There is no corruption, there is justice
There is no absolute, there is the shadow

There is no conflict, there is balance

For other force users, there is a constant inner battle to ensure that either the light or darkside of the force attains supremecy within but for the shadow jedi, the dark and light do exist in conflict but in balance.

This is the perception and goal of the shadow for both the manner in which we use the force and the fate of the galaxy is one of balance, never too much of one side or the other. To the point that one cannot see the dividing line.

There is no apathy, there is certainty

While we are the only true neutral place in the force, we are neither indifferent nor ambivalent in our lives. Neither ambassadors of light nor dark conquerors, we stand in the middle with a clear objective and approach that can reflect the situation as it is.

As the universe changes, as one's day changes each minute, our neutral stance is applied with a certainty, not indifference, since as any jedi will tell you, apathy is death.

There is no corruption, there is justice

At first this may appear to be a quote from a jedi teaching--not so, as the peace keepers view justice differently to us and as few realise, so do the sith. It should be noted that most sith have ideas that pertain to justice, so do we.

Justice is paramount to the shadow jedi but in the context of justice within the force, not the current popular legal system.
The problem with jedi and sith ideals of justice is they go too far into either side of the force, creating an extreme that capsizes to being corrupted by a lack of the other: allowing only the light is too lenient while the darkside alone is too cruel.

It is the extremes that are the corruption. Applying the first line of the code and ensuring balance reigns defeats the corruption and brings true justice, whether it be of light, or darkness or both.

There is no absolute, there is the shadow

We begin where we end, in the shadows. It has been asked what happens to shadows when we no longer have a role in the mortal realm.
Do we fade to oblivion or join the company of the force? Some younger shadow jedi think that we follow some kind of third side of the force while others insist that we just use the force as a whole, and it is jedi and sith who are simply missing half of their power.

Shadows who fail to understand the concept of light and dark also fail to understand this line of the code. There is no absolute being who can attain total mastery of the force, only one side or the other--or the middle ground where we live.

To cling to the idea that there are no sides is to deny the existence of non-shadows can match our power by using only the light or dark. This sort of foolishness is disregarded by the true shadow masters as there is no absolute mastery, no absolute afterlife and no absolute alignment for us.

As we live, we stand in the valley that separates the light from the dark, bringing both together while never venturing too deep into either path.

When we die, that which is light goes into the company of the force, that which is dark goes to oblivion--this does not mean one's spirit divides, rather, a shadow of who we are remains in eternity.
